PROVIDENCIALES, Turks & Caicos Islands – Monday, January 8, 2018 – The Providenciales International Airports is indeed currently undergoing repairs to the Terminal Facility.
Hurricane Season was very active and left behind a wake of damages that also affected the Terminal facility in Providenciales. The ongoing terminal repairs were negatively affected by the storms and as a result airport repairs had to be prioritized in order to get the airport open and fully functional for passenger and aircraft movements.
The Maintenance Department at Providenciaels International Airport has worked tirelessly to repair damages and these works are ongoing. With the recent rainy weather, more leaks have been highlighted since the storms and are indeed being addressed by airport staff.
The Airports Authority has taken all necessary measures to minimize the effects of damages to passenger travel and is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all.
