ALL PERSONS FROM AIRCRAFT INCIDENT RESCUED

The Turks and Caicos Islands Airports Authority is pleased to confirm that all four persons involved in the aircraft incident that transpired on today, January 3, 2023, have been found alive and responsive and have been transported to the Cockburn Town Medical Center on Grand Turk.

This update has been confirmed by the Royal Turks and Caicos Police Force (RTCPF).

The TCIAA would like to extend gratitude to all persons involved in the search and rescue, the RTCPF, Department of Disaster Management and Emergencies, Fire Department, Emergency Services, Coastguard, Customs and Border Protection. Additional thanks to local boating companies namely Kellison Talbot's heroic and selfless act in bringing these persons to safety.
